"Sonic Adventure 2 (Dark Story + Final Story)", also known as "Real-Time Fandub Games and the Limits of Man^[1]", is episode 2 of the series SnapCube's Real-Time Fandub. It premiered on July 18, 2018 on YouTube. It is the second fandub based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the second part of the Piss Saga, preceded by "Sonic Adventure 2 (Hero Story)".^[2]

Synopsis[]

Dr. Eggman finds out about his wife's affair, while Knuckles and Rouge try to score some weed and Shadow revisits his dream of golden showers with Maria, now deceased.

Plot[]

Breaking into Prison Island[]

For unknown reasons, Doctor Eggman attempts to break into the highly secure facility of Prison Island, however once inside, the guards lock him in as an attempt to starve him to death. However, he somehow manages to survive for three years, going insane in the process.

He eventually makes it to Level 7 and gets his chance to leave, but before he does he decides to use the facilities' computer to login to his Twitter. However he forgets the password and tries to login using his diamond, instead he reawakens Shadow the Hedgehog who proceeds to destroy a security robot. After seeing him in action, Eggman offers Shadow to join him so the two of them can rule the world, but Shadow refuses because "Eggman is fat", and leaves to have sex with Eggman's wife.

Station Square[]

After escaping the island, Eggman returns to his base in Egypt and finally logs in to his Twitter, only to find Shadow's genitalia on his wife's Twitter feed. Shadow mocks Eggman via a livestream and leaves off to have sex with more ladies. At that moment his PTSD triggers after hearing the song "Sound of da Police".

Shadow has a flashback to when his best friend, Maria Robotnik, locked him in an escape pod and said she was going to kill him after he farted. He tried to argue that Maria smelt it therefore she dealt it, but he was launched into space despite that.

Shadow stops in the middle of Station Square to admire the Weed Crystal he just stole, gaining the attention of Sonic the Hedgehog who wants to eat the crystal. When Shadow doesn't let him, Sonic tries to attack but Shadow uses the Weed Crystal to teleport away before he has a chance.

The Ark[]

Having broken into Eggman's base, Rouge the Bat hacks into his Twitter account to find the location of his weed supply.

Meanwhile, Eggman sings the song "Mad World" to himself before freaking out, thinking he's somehow back on Prison Island and locked in again. He eventually finds his way to the Ark's central control room where he confronts Shadow and threatens to kill him twice. But Shadow uses the Weed Crystal to get Eggman's Twitter account blocked. Eggman simply laughs though, as it was just one of his 70 alternate accounts and not his main.

As the two of them argue, Rouge interrupts and reveals to Eggman that she also fucked his wife and takes a diamond out of her vagina.

Return to Prison Island[]

In an odd turn of events, Eggman decides to let Shadow and Rouge join his team and the three of them travel to Prison Island. Eggman tells the two of them that Sonic is somewhere on the island and that he has all the weed they could ever want and that they should get it from him before Eggman blows up the island. As they prepare, the three of them run into Amy, who Eggman chases down to get the $100 she owes him. Amy considers jumping off the aircraft carrier but before she can, Tails falls from the sky and fights Eggman.

While exploring the jungle, Shadow runs into Sonic and the two of them fight. Before they can finish, Eggman calls Shadow on his walkie talkie and tells him that the island is about to blow up, so Shadow flees the battle and just barely escapes the island alive.

The Piss Saga[]

Shadow has another flashback of his time with Maria where he expresses his strong desire to pee on the Earth, namely inside of a Hot Topic.

In the present, Shadow was apparently telling this story to Rouge and she offers to take him to a Hot Topic. As they talk, Eggman walks into the room and questions what the hell they're talking about. Shadow casually walks out of the room as he reveals to Eggman that he peed on his wife.

Eggman gets blackout drunk and live streams an announcement rant to the entire world, calling Shadow a "bitch-ass motherfucker" and saying his dick is small. In a fit of drunken rage, Eggman fires his super laser piss on the Moon, blowing up half of it and cursing Barack Obama as he does it.

The next day, Eggman wakes up somehow still drunk as Shadow and Rouge hold an intervention for him. They tell him how he pissed on the Moon but he seems to have no recollection of it. Rouge shows Eggman the news of him pissing on the Moon but Eggman instead focuses on the fact that Tails has the Piss Rock which Eggman mistakes for the Weed Crystal and gets angry, storming out of the room. Once Shadow leaves the room, Rouge calls Sonic and tells him about how her double-agent work is going.

In the middle of nowhere, Shadow starts singing "A Ghost's Pumpkin Soup" to himself when he realises that the place he is in resembles Pumpkin Hill. He then sees Tails flying by and calls Sonic to tell him, and asks if he wants him to punish Tails for flying without his permission. Eggman joins the call and gets angry when he finds out that Sonic is on the same line as the villain line.

Sometime later, after Knuckles saves Rouge's life, she gives him all of her weed and he makes a ganja sandwich with extra mayo out of them. The two of them declare their love to each other and agree to meet behind a Denny's before Knuckles runs off.

Eggman's nudes[]

Eggman becomes infuriated when he finds out someone, later revealed to be Rouge, posted his nudes onto his Twitter. This causes Shadow to nearly betray him as he refuses to work with someone with a dick shorter than three inches. In a fit of rage, Eggman nearly reveals he is Shadow's creator before he calms down and leaves to kidnap Amy.

After Sonic is believed to have been blown up, Rouge sneaks into the central control room to hack Twitter and post Eggman's nude pictures on every single account. Shadow stops her, revealing that the pictures she leaked were manipulated, and Eggman's real penis is far more disturbing, somehow looking like every Tetris block at the same time. However, Shadow quickly gives up on trying to stop her and just leaves to go to Fun Land.

Shadow runs into Sonic at Fun Land and welcomes Sonic to the "Fucked Eggman's Wife" club. The two of them fight and Shadow wins.

Eggman's father[]

At some point, Rouge leaked Eggman's real nudes anyway, causing his father, Gerald Robotnik, to intervene, declaring that everyone on Earth will die, though it's never said how he's going to kill them. Sonic attempts to make amends with Eggman so they can work together, but he shuts them all down and goes on a rant about how everyone fucked his wife. The others celebrate Eggman's breakdown before they rush to the core of the Ark.

Wandering around aimlessly, Amy finds Shadow and decides to go off about how she wet the bed and rented her own apartment when she was just six years old, quickly divulging into how she is somehow the queen of the world and beginning to just quote Lion King. Shadow ignores her and leaves to pee.

Shadow somehow makes his way to the core of the Ark where he fights his brother, the Bio Lizard. Once he's done, Sonic and Shadow jack off and pee on each other, transforming into Super Sonic and Super Shadow. The two of them fly out into space to fight the Bio Lizard. The two of them blow up the Bio Lizard but for some reason Shadow falls down to Earth and is presumed dead.

Sonic offers Shadow's inhibitor ring to Rouge in his memory, while a drunk Eggman calls Tails a "nine-tailed fox naruto-looking motherfucker" for suggesting therapy. Knuckles and Rouge leave to go behind the Denny's and get high, and Sonic leaves to get Chipotle.

Continuity[]

• The episode is the first to cross one million views and later ten million views on SnapCube, and is currently the second most viewed video on Penny's channel with 12 million views (as of February 2022).^[3]
• This, "Sonic Adventure 2 (Hero Story)", and "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus" are the only episodes that don't feature a theme song spoof.
• This is one of only three dubs without end credits, where the SnapCube end screen plays instead.
  • The track playing during the end screen is "Chao Race (Extended Mix)", from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. The song's usage, while fitting, had already been used in SnapCube's endscreens as of January 12, 2018.
• The SnapCube intro (animated by purmello) is first used here, and this variant of the intro would continue to be used until "Marvel's Spider-Man".

• The scene of Dr. Eggman pissing on the moon became extremely famous across the internet, giving the video a lot of attention.
  • The popularity unfortunately led to the community harassing Eggman's official voice actor, Mike Pollock, to do the rant. He put out a video relaying to fans that he wasn't going to be saying the lines in his authentic voice for the sake of the character's public brand image.^[4]
  • In honor of the one year anniversary of the dub, Penny put out Alfred's isolated audio of the rant for fans to use in editing.^[5]
  • During recording, Penny requested that all recording be stopped so that the moment could be secured if anything else fails, with the knowledge they just struck comedy gold.
• One year after the video was released, Penny shared the isolated studio vocals for the clip that would be known as "Eggman's Announcement", for people to adapt and remix to their will.
• Multiple modifications of the original game have been created with the audio of the episode for people to play.
• The episode was demonetized by manual review on July 2, 2019, making it the first episode to be demonetized. It would be followed by "Resident Evil 2".^[6] This is now a common occurrence for videos on SnapCube.
• One of Eggman's throwaway lines was pointed out to have accidentally predicted an important depiction of Tails's character, as he drunkenly calls him a "nine-tailed fox Naruto-looking motherfucker". Tails also affirmed that he wished he had nine tails. Four years later, the franchise's animated Netflix series Sonic Prime depicts a multiverse version of Tails with nine tails (in addition to the two he was born with).^[7][8]

Errors[]

• The closed captions in the episode during Eggman's announcement mistakenly read: "Tall points, no quills, no pillows, look at that, it looks like two balls and a bong," when Eggman actually says: "All points, no quills, no pillows, look at that, it looks like two balls and a bong." This is confirmed by the clear audio track for the clip.
